Funded Training Opportunities for Existing Workers in 2012
What training is available?
There are over 50 available training opportunities ranging from the Certificate III to the Advanced Diploma level.
Who is eligible to apply?
Eligibility is determined by an employee being:
- an Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia or a person who is in Australia on a humanitarian refugee visa
AND - an ACT resident, or, if an Existing Worker, work for an ACT employer.
How much does training cost?
The cost of training is shared between the Federal and State Governments and the employer/employee.

When can I start and finish my training?
Training can start as soon as CIT is notified that the joint application between CIT and your employer has been successful. Employees must start before 29 June 2012 and complete studying as part of the PPP program by 30 May 2014.
