Lauren Jackson
With CIT’s proven track record in getting students mandatory qualifications and fellow colleagues’ recommendations about the course, it was an easy decision for Lauren Jackson to choose to study at CIT and gain her Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
Travelling from Yass to attend her classes, Lauren found the part-time study, two nights a week fitted into her busy lifestyle and the opportunity to gain more qualifications in the future also appealed.
"I was hoping to achieve a greater understanding of the dental workforce. Also it was great to receive a qualification in your chosen area of employment," said Lauren. Lauren enjoyed gaining experience from her CIT course and applying this knowledge in her every day work environment.
Lauren is now a Practice Manager of Dental Surgery and was the Health Sciences prize winner in 2005, awarded by the ACT Dental Group.
