Clinton Moxton
CIT was a good choice for student Clinton Moxton who comes from a small rural town with limited access to programs.
"CIT had what I needed to achieve my goals in life and being in Canberra I felt like I was still in the country which made it feel like home. As I did not want to study at university, CIT had the best to offer for me to study sports and come out with a Diploma in Sport Development."
Clinton sees the benefits of studying at CIT as being able to coach and teach to all age groups of any disability. He says, "This course I am currently studying will give me an easier start to a university course in the sporting industry as I have already completed some aspect of the degree. I want to promote certain sports or a wide range of sports to disadvantaged /rural children in areas across Australia and CIT has put me a step closer to achieving this goal."
When asked about his study experience, Clinton says, "I have found CIT an amazing and life changing experience. The things I have learnt from here will not be taught anywhere else in the industry. The friendships I have made and [the] experience of meeting new people has been unforgettable for me. This course has been great to me and I would recommend this to anyone looking at studying in the sports industry."
