I still live in Yass and travel in to attend CIT.

I developed an interest in cabinet making while still at school but learning from the CIT teachers has really helped my confidence. Through this course you get taught the right way to do things. Teachers are very helpful and you can actually talk to them and have a bit of a yarn about life if you need to.

I would recommend the CIT cabinet making course to others. This trade suits someone who is eager to work as it’s so hands on and you cannot just sit back when there is work to do. It's challenging to try and get a top mark, but I am really proud to finish work, especially when I was able to give one of my final works to my grandfather as a gift.
