| Entry Requirements: | Advanced Diploma: You must: - have a Diploma of Visual Art and Design Practice or equivalent Diploma: You must: - have an ACT Year 12 or equivalent OR have a Certificate IV in Visual Arts and Contemporary Crafts CUV40103 or equivalent qualification OR be Mature Age (turn at least 20 in first year of study) AND - present a portfolio at interview of recent work which should include at least ten pieces of visual art and/or design work including a selection from - a visual diary - sketches and drawings in a variety of media - painting or mixed media art works - art and design development work - illustrations and prints such as silk screen, woodcuts, etchings or linocuts - three dimensional work, photographs, textile design and/or computer aided imagery - visual art and design cultural understanding Entry process: 1. Submit your application 2. Attend an interview (or other negotiated process) where you will be given the opportunity to elaborate on your portfolio and present your academic results, resume and references and any other supporting material which demonstrates your - drawing and design skills - evidence of creativity and conceptual skills - motivation and attitudes towards art and design work - potential aptitude for art and design work - work experience, where relevant - portfolio organisation skills | |||
| Additional Information: | You will need to purchase equipment for use throughout the program. There will also be a materials cost of approximately $150 for each semester. In addition, you will need to purchase materials for the completion of projects which remain your property. | |||
