Summary:This program is designed to reflect the role of those who require breadth and depth of skill and knowledge relating to sports coaching and sports administration. This program enables you to develop a range of coaching, sports event management, sport specific and administrative competencies required to facilitate a range of desired outcomes in a variety of sports settings. This program has Certificate III units of competency embedded within the Delivery Structure to enable you to acquire the underpinning skills and knowledge for the Diploma.
Delivery Mode:2 semesters full-time (approx. 20 hours per week) OR part-time equivalent

Entry Requirements:  You must
- have a relevant Certificate IV qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge. You may need to attend an interview to present details of your study and work experience.
Note: Before undertaking any practical work experience involving children, you will be required to undertake a police check.
Additional Information:  During industry placements you will be required to dress in a CIT polo shirt and appropriate pants and footwear which you will need to purchase. It is recommended that you gain a Level 1 coaching accreditation from the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme or from the National Strength and Conditioning Association either before or while completing this program.
