Summary:These programs provide you with a structured and assessed pathway to learn Japanese. The focus of the programs is vocational rather than recreational. These programs will enable you to use Japanese to enhance your work or business.
Delivery Mode:2 semesters part-time (approx. 3-5 hours per week)
Job Opportunities:Certificate I Provides practical introductory Japanese skills to help in overseas travel or for work purposes.
Certificate II Graduates can speak, understand, read and write Japanese in a limited range of work and personal circumstances.
Entry Requirements:  Certificate I You must
- have successfully completed the ACT Year 10 Certificate (or equivalent) with passes in the four communication skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking English

Certificate II You must
- have successfully completed the Certificate I in Japanese (or equivalent) OR be able to demonstrate competency in Japanese at Certificate I level
