Summary:This qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be able to install and manage small scale networks either as an independent network support technician or as part of a team.
Delivery Mode:2 semesters full-time (approx. 29 hours per week) OR part-time equivalent

Entry Requirements:  you must
- have successfully completed Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology or equivalent qualification
OR

- be able to demonstrate vocational experience (at least 6 months) in a range of web related work environments in a network support role including administrator, manager, operations analyst, operations engineering/technician and/or technician.

If you are entering this program as a Trainee/Apprentice under the Australian Apprenticeships arrangements, you must be employed in the industry and you must register with an Australian Apprenticeships Centre (AAC) prior to enrolment
Availability:Student intake offered in Semester 1 and Semester 2
Additional Information:  You may be required to pay additional costs (approximately $150 - $500) associated with textbooks, stationery requirements and materials fees. You will also need a removable hard disk drive. If you are a new student, you will be enrolled in the subject EMSK 110 Preparing for employment in your chosen profession prior to starting your studies at CIT.
