Summary:This program provides training in a range of high risk competencies which are increasingly recognised by industry as areas for focused attention. These competencies have now been included in many of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Integrated Framework (CPC08) qualifications. This program is aimed at providing the opportunity for current construction industry employees and/or graduates to achieve one or more of these competencies to enhance and update their skills and knowledge.

Delivery Mode:1 to 9 days part time (up to 8 hours per day) depending on competency selected

Entry Requirements:  You must be physically fit and able to work at heights. Preference will be given to people who are working in, or have worked in, the construction industry or a related industry.
Additional Information:  You are required to wear clothing appropriate for a construction work site and use appropriate personal safety equipment including Workcover approved safety footwear.
Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (SAC 2006) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
