Summary:

This program provides a trade outcome in carpentry, covering work in residential and commercial applications. The training covers footings, wall framing, roofing and interior fit-outs.

Entry Requirements You must:
- be able to read and write documents and understand maths concepts to a level required to complete Year 10 (early in the program your skills will be checked - if you cannot read and write documents and complete maths work to the level needed, you will be enrolled in additional subjects to help you build the skills needed to successfully complete the program)

As you are entering this program as an Apprentice under the Australian Apprenticeships arrangements, you must be employed in the industry and you must register with an Australian Apprenticeships Centre (AAC) prior to enrolment.

Additional Information:

You will need to provide clothing and appropriate safety footwear suitable for working on a construction site and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, dust masks and hearing protection.
