Summary:In this exciting collaboration between the Canberra Institute of Technology and Charles Sturt University your Business Studies Degree will be awarded by Charles Sturt University. The subjects will be jointly delivered by CIT and CSU conveniently at CIT's Reid campus. You will have the opportunity to follow the pathway from an advanced diploma in a range of CIT programs (see below) and complete a nationally and internationally recognised degree in one year’s full-time study. You will also have saved up to 60% of the cost of a university degree by taking advantage of the two years credit awarded to students with an advanced diploma mentioned below.

The eight subjects offered on the Reid campus of CIT range across important and interesting management areas such as global marketing, financial decision making, corporate governance, regional economics, leadership and project management. These in-depth studies will broaden your knowledge and sharpen your abilities in critical analysis, rational argument and all the essential communication skills required of a successful manager. You can study four units full time or two units part time per semester. Student intakes are offered in February and July.

Your experience in completing the course prepares you to manage technical and organisational change and gain the skills to help you become an effective leader able to understand the needs of your employees, apply technology, and develop an extensive knowledge of the political, economic and social environment. These crucial strategic skills are now becoming even more essential in the highly competitive and often uncertain world of international and local business enterprises.
