Summary:This program is designed for people either wishing to enter or already working in the alcohol and other drug work field. The program provides you with specialist skills, techniques and theories for the field. You will have the opportunity for practical experience in the community. Many of our graduates have gained jobs in the field of community services.
Delivery Mode:2 semesters full-time (approx. 20 hours per week) OR part-time equivalent
Job Opportunities:Welfare and community services worker in the alcohol and drug field.
Entry Requirements:  You must have:
language, literacy and numeracy skills to be able to correctly recount information, read and write reports and client notes, read textbooks and write short answer questions.

If applicants are entering a program as a trainee under the Australian Apprenticeships arrangements they must be employed in the industry and register with an Australian Apprenticeships Centre prior to enrolment.
