Summary:If you are considering a career in accounting or looking for a better understanding of the accounting records you currently work with, this program provides the answer by introducing general accounting principles, accrual accounting and computerised accounting.
Delivery Mode:1 semester part-time (approx. 8 hours per week) OR 2 semesters part-time (approx. 4 hours per week)
Job Opportunities:Successful completion of this program allows you to undertake bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable activities.
Entry Requirements:  You must be able to read and write documents and understand maths concepts to a level required to complete Year 10 (early in the program skills may be checked - if applicants cannot read and write documents and complete maths work to the level needed, they may be enrolled in additional subjects to help them build the skills needed to successfully complete the program).

have the Certificate II in Financial Services
Additional Information:  These subjects can count toward a Certificate III in Accounts Administration, a Certificate IV in Accounting or a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.
