Summary:This program will give you the skills if you are seeking registration as a BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board. It will assist small business and not-for-profit organisation operators to prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in accordance with legislative requirements for the Goods and Services Tax. The program will include an overview of all taxes included in the business activity statement.
Delivery Mode:1 semester part-time (approx. 3 hours per week)
Job Opportunities:BAS Agent
Entry Requirements:  You must have the Certificate lll in Accounts Administration
OR be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge OR be managing the accounting records for a small business.
Availability:Student intake offered in Semester 1 and Semester 2
Additional Information:  These subjects can count toward a Certificate IV in Accounting or a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.
