Aged Care

Do you have a heart for helping people? Interested in assisting to maintain health and quality of life? Want a career that makes a difference?

Aged care is a career that makes a world of difference to people in later life and their families. Quality aged care can offer comfort, health, happiness and companionship at an important stage of life. This can be facilitated through strong collaborative care arrangements, and through a specialised knowledge of supports and interventions.

Learn skills to assist clients in a home setting or care setting with a range of specialised supports and interventions. Quality aged care is about collaborative partnerships, and you will learn to work with the client’s family and other established support network to facilitate these for improved client care. Our aged care courses have a hands-on focus to ensure you put the theory into practice as you learn.

Whether you want to build a career for the future or transfer your skills and experience, are looking for work while you study, or would like flexible work that's also interesting and meaningful - the care and support sector might have what you're looking for. Explore the pathways to join this sector or find out more whether care and support work might be for you.
