English as a Second Language

CIT offers government subsidised affordable English as a second language classes. Our next course starts on Monday 25 July, 2016 at CIT Reid. Come along to our information and enrolment sessions in Room H102, H Block, CIT Reid on Tuesday 19 July 2 - 5:00 pm or Thursday 21 July 3 - 5:30pm.
CIT Pathways College offers a range of courses for people from non-English speaking backgrounds. These courses assist students to achieve functional English so they can maximise settlement opportunities in Australia and are designed to improve skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing English, from beginner to advanced level. Our qualified, experienced teachers will build your confidence to use English at work, for study or in the community, in a friendly and affordable learning environment.
The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) programme, funded by the Australian Government, provides language, literacy and numeracy training for eligible clients referred by the Department of Human Services (also known as Centrelink) and employment service providers. As well as developing students' language, literacy and numeracy skills, the program assists participants to develop the skills they need to participate more effectively in further training or employment.
