Learning Options provides a focus on the needs of the learner with a relaxed learning environment for students to:

• improve their literacy, numeracy and basic computing skills
• become independent learners
• develop problem solving skills
• improve communication skills
• build confidence
• prepare for work

Students can gain recognition of their achievements at three levels:

• Statement of Attainment in Learning Options
• Certificate I in Learning Options
• Certificate II in Learning Options

Learning Options can also be adapted to a variety of different learning contexts:

• women preparing to return to the paid workforce (PDF 1Mb),
• youth who are exploring training options,
• people with a disability,
• indigenous students etc.
